Along with her husband, actor David Hunt, Patricia Heaton produced the film "Amazing Grace," which chronicles the abolition of Britain's slave trade. But Heaton, who played Ray Romano's wife on "Everybody Loves Raymond," tells us she's excited to return to the sitcom world. She co-stars with Kelsey Grammer in "Action News," which is slated to join the Fox lineup this fall.

"It's sort of like lightning striking twice," Heaton said when we tracked her down in Los Angeles last week. "Of course, 'Everybody Loves Raymond' was such a gift, which doesn't come along very often. To have this project come just two years later, I'm sort of wondering--I must have done something right in a previous life.

"That, or there's something horrible waiting right around the corner."
