The accolades just keep coming
for "Everybody Loves
Raymond" star Patricia
Heaton, who last week added
another best actress Emmy to
the one already on her mantel.
Heaton, a Bay Village native,
has been awarded a "Golden
Hanger" by E! TV's Joan
and Melissa Rivers, who cite
the best in celebrity fashion.
Heaton, who wore a
mahogany-hued Valentino gown to
the Emmys, joked that being
crowned "most stylish mom
of the year" rubs some of
the luster off her Golden
Hanger. "They give that
award to the actress with the
most children and the least
amount of spit-up on her
dress," said the mother of
four young sons.
Clevelanders, be proud. One of
our own has not let Hollywood
go to her head. In an upcoming
People magazine article,
Heaton, who worked at the
magazine years ago while she
was a struggling actress, said
that a staffer once gave her a
secondhand fancy dress. Big
star or not, she pulled the
gown out of the closet again
for a recent bash.
