How You Know Her:
She's Ray Barone's culinary
impaired wife Debra on
"Everybody Loves
Raymond." Patricia just
won her second Emmy for best
actress in a comedy series at
the 2001 awards.
Favorite Decorating Style:
With four young boys, Patricia
definitely let's them express
themselves. Approaching her Los
Angeles home, the beautiful
stone walkway is marked with
chalk drawings. The kids' art
work is proudly displayed in
the halls and in the kitchen.
In fact, Patricia describes her
home as "Kidsville."
Where the Boys Aren't:
The living room is what she
deems the "grown-up
room." It's elegant but
comfortable with antique
couches and soft throws. She
and her decorator like to mix
styles and make her 'finds' of
lamps and furnishings work
together.
Look But Don't Touch:
Patricia who loves to shop for
pottery online on Southebys and
eBay knows to keep her prized
collection of Mocha Ware up on
a high shelf in the kitchen.
"My favorite patterns are
Earthworm, Cats Eye and Tobacco
Leaf. I buy the pieces made in
the late 1700s and mid
1800s," she says.
The Toy the Whole Family Can
Enjoy:
Unlike her "Raymond"
character, Patricia is a great
cook and loves her
old-fashioned dinner bell. And
she actually uses it to call
her brood in to eat. "When
I was growing, up the lady down
the street used to call her
kids to dinner that way and I
remembered that. And then my
husband found a dinner bell,
and he gave it to me at
Christmas time and for some
reason that makes them come.
Either they're watching TV or
they're playing and they always
hear thes dinner bell. Yeah,
there is something really
special about it."
